New Syla Species « Thread Started on Sept 15, 2007, 3:57pm »
Okay, because noe we have four Fara soecies I want there to be four Syla species. But what? I'm open to any suggestions you have! Just make sure they're fairly 'evil'. So no unicorns or stuff like that. As you know, Fara creatures are ones we'd find in real life, but Syla are mythical, I'd like to keep that theme.
Also, I have this idea where each Syla species is a sworn enemy with one of the Fara species. I mean, all Fara hate all Syla, but they reeeeeeeeally hate a certain species. So far, I'm thiking:
Birds of Prey-Harpies Felines-Serpents Equines-Minotaurs
Notice how the Faras are enemies with the Sylas that share a similar quality with them?(Somewhat) So, I want the new Syla species to be sworn enemies with thr canines.

ohhh! i got one! The canines could be enimies whith what are know as helldogs but we can call them Demons here. Like the Cerburi (multiple of Cerberus) that would allow people to play as Cerburi or other evil/mythical dog- like creatures, wich is how I understand the Serpents work. (as a basilisk is more a reptile in my opinion and not a large snake and it is classified as a serpent here.A serpent could probably also be a Hydra or something like that)
If thats not how the serpents work then mabey we could just have Cerburi.

Yes, that is how serpents work, but snakes are reptiles, so I'm kind of confused by what you said.
But I'm thinking we need a more specific name than Demons. Demons covers a whole lot of animals...I might just end up using helldogs or cerburi. But anyway, thanks for the idea!

I ment to say lizard not reptile heh..... and yea demons do cover alot, just didn't know if 'Helldog' would be 'appropriate' so to speak. I know of a few other canine like creatures, some engulfed in flame and others with wings.. just cant think of their names..... you COULD call the 'group Chimera as really a Chimera is a hybrid of sorts.... so i think a three headed dog or a flamey dog would be some kinda hybrid.. I dunno.... just trying to help =)
