I had flown out, hoping to hear something from my brethren. The birds of prey were not as strong at the equines, felines, and canines, but most of us had been able to escape. In fact, there would've have been no casualities if it weren't for the harpies. They were our sworn enemy. They had the gift of flight but they used it for evil.
My keen eyes searched the lower grounds, and they came upon an odd site. An equine, a stallion by the looks of it. And he seemed to think everything was just dandy. I alighted quickly on the ground before him.
"What are you doing? Our safety is in numbers, you should get to the meeting!"

Thunder, being a large and fit stallion, did not object to following the bird, but he did so with caution. Holsteiner's were hard to come by and very 'expensive' for the two-leggeds. He took a step forward.
"May I inquire after you name, bird?" He asked.
